See how your link looks before you share it.

Recommended size: 1200×630px (1.91:1 ratio). This preview shows a placeholder box at the correct ratio since it can't fetch external images directly.

This is an approximation. Each platform renders cards slightly differently and changes its layout periodically, this tool shows commonly used lengths and the current typical card shapes, not a pixel-perfect guarantee. Also note: platforms cache a link's preview the first time it's shared, so if you update your tags after already sharing a link once, you may need to use each platform's own cache-refresh tool (e.g. Facebook's Sharing Debugger, X's Card Validator) to see the update reflected.

Never wonder if your pages are set up right

Weeklift's weekly digest surfaces pages worth a second look based on your real ranking and click data, so issues like a missing preview image don't go unnoticed for months.

Recommended lengths and sizes

Most platforms follow similar rough guidelines, though none of them are officially fixed limits: og:title around 60–70 characters before it risks truncation, og:description around 155–200 characters, and og:image at 1200×630px (a 1.91:1 ratio), which is the size Facebook, LinkedIn, and X all currently favor for a full-width card. Images smaller than about 200×200px often get skipped entirely by some platforms.
