Weeklift

How Weeklift compares to other tools

Weeklift's Actual Category

Weeklift connects read-only to your Google Search Console via OAuth and sends one plain-text email a week: rising keywords, losing keywords, and pages with real search visibility but zero clicks. No dashboard, no login required after setup, $29/month.

We looked for tools that do the same thing, and honestly, there isn't a close, well-documented match. The tools nearest to this positioning, Carly AI and Go-Insights, both extend meaningfully beyond a single-purpose GSC digest. The much larger platforms, Ahrefs and Semrush, do far more than Weeklift by design, and cost several times as much. Below is our honest attempt to place Weeklift among both groups.

A note on the numbers below: pricing changes frequently, and SaaS providers routinely restructure their plans. The prices here reflect research current as of July 2026, sourced from each provider's own pricing page where possible. Please confirm current pricing directly with the provider before making a decision, don't rely on this page alone for an active purchase.

Close Functional Peers

Tools that also turn Search Console or Analytics data into a scheduled digest or alert, delivered outside a dashboard.

Tool Data Source Delivery Price Beyond GSC-only?
Weeklift Google Search Console only Weekly email, plain text $29/month No, GSC only, by design
Carly AI Google Search Console, plus calendar/task/CRM data Email and SMS, conversational query-and-response plus "weekly briefings" Free tier available; Personal $35/mo; Organization $120/mo Yes, a general AI assistant with 200+ integrations, GSC is one connected source among many
Go-Insights Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 Slack, Microsoft Teams, and email From $99/month (exact plan naming unclear at time of research) Yes, broader anomaly detection across GA4 traffic behavior in addition to search performance, plus Slack/Teams delivery

SEOScout was also reviewed but excluded from this table: its core product is keyword research, content optimization, and site crawling, with Search Console features as one part of a larger toolkit. We couldn't confirm it offers a scheduled email or Slack digest at all, so it isn't really a peer to Weeklift's core mechanic; see the full-suite comparison below for tools in that broader category.

Full-Suite Alternatives

The large, all-in-one platforms someone evaluating Weeklift might also consider, at their cheapest available paid tier.

Tool Entry Plan Price Source
Ahrefs Starter $29/month Ahrefs' official pricing page, July 2026
Semrush Pro (SEO) $139.95/month, or $117.33/month billed annually Semrush's official pricing page, 2026

A real ambiguity worth disclosing rather than hiding: Ahrefs' $29/month Starter plan is a lightweight, narrower product than Ahrefs' fuller SEO suite, which actually starts at Lite ($129/month, occasionally listed as low as $99/month under annual billing depending on the source). Depending on which tier you consider Ahrefs' "true" entry point, the honest comparison number is either $29 or $129, not one clean figure.

When Each Makes Sense

Weeklift fits if all you want is a plain-English heads-up on your own site's Google Search Console performance, once a week, without logging into anything.

Carly AI or Go-Insights fit if you want that same kind of automated alerting but need it to also cover other data (calendar and tasks, or GA4 behavioral anomalies) or delivered into Slack/Teams rather than email.

Ahrefs or Semrush fit if you need backlink analysis, competitor research, paid ads monitoring, or a full SEO toolkit, real capability Weeklift doesn't try to replace, at a correspondingly higher monthly cost and with a dashboard as the primary interface.
